It’s time to use a word that is rarely used this way. Fire! Fire in music is usually in your face, hot, rough and ready, hard rock. And yet. Hundreds are also the fire among the four elements. But as embers, only grey now, nonetheless all the more intense energetically. This is where the electro-pop by brother and sister Eva and Philipp Milner pulsates from, revealing an opulence of carefully constructed, sparse details: electronic bass like cumulus clouds, artfully purist melodies, minor harmonies without drama. After the release of their third album “Wilderness” in autumn 2016, they’re now coming to play for us in Hannover.
