Das Kongo Tribunal

In May 2015, Swiss theatre-maker Milo Rau organised the “Congo Tribunal” in Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and in Berlin, a fictional trial, in which the causes and background of the Congo War were investigated. His documentary film based on this sketches a portrait of the economic war supported by witness accounts and expert opinions. This results in a shocking look at humanity and analytically in-depth tableau of the neo-colonial world order.
