The intellectual music domain indie rock can be quite hetero. Schrottgrenze have been kicking around the scene for quite a while now. Started in the 1990s in Peine, continuing in Hamburg after their first album. Gradually it became clear that their path would be both rocky and smooth: a load of albums, lots of changes in style. But only 20 years after they were founded, only in 2017 with the album Glitzer auf Beton, did singer Alexis Tsitsigias come out. Now that he’s written lyrics and music about it, the band’s guitar rock is kicking up more glitter than ever.
