“Freak”, “warrior”, “lover”, “wiseman”. You could design a tarot card set out of the rap game. Amewu Nove would very clearly be a figure with a long beard and the staff of wisdom in his hand. Around for ages, the rapper from Charlottenburg in Berlin with the lovely name Halbgott (demi-god) shook up the dubstep parties of the noughties with freestyle raps. As Amewu, the MC has already released the two albums “Entwicklungshilfe” and “Leidkultur”. Jazzy and introspective, just like his rhymes, and very much driven by socially aware rhyming. Amewu has also been involved in social projects from Wedding in Berlin to Manila, often with his friend Chefket.
