Christiane Rösinger interprets the old West Berlin negation with a remarkably free and easy style. That she recently landed the hot-topic hit of current times with “Eigentumswohnung” doesn’t put her own terrific story in the shade one bit: song-writer and singer with the Lassie Singers, the voice of Britta, thee hostess of the Flittchen Bar at the Spree. Queen of the almost disappeared city of West Berlin and with that a world in which “we all still smoked” (B. Morgenstern). Rösinger’s band Britta were already around back then. That’s why it was high time to invite the doyenne of the musical form of the social novel to Theaterformen.
