The masterclass is an education and outreach format that enables an encounter between school students of drama and international theatre-makers. For four days, 20 school students from the eleventh class will work with festival artists in order to learn about their techniques and working practices. Marie-Luise Krüger, theatre educator, will run the workshops and accompany all the students as they open themselves up to strong artistic positions, foreign languages, moments of cultural clash and uncertainty, fun and new experiences. The students will create a small performance during the workshops. The project will be rounded off with a visit to a show at the Theaterformen festival. Finally, the results of the workshop will be shown in a presentation on June 20th in the IGS Peine.
