Festival Theaterformen celebrated its 25th anniversary in July. A total of 130 events were held during the eleven-day anniversary edition programme that ends today. It was the first Festival under the artistic directorship of Martine Dennewald. →

Today is the day: We start into the Festival 2015, celebrating our 25th anniversary. With a programme of 130 events, the Festival Theaterformen presents theatre from all over the world including eight German premieres. Surtitle operators for Festival Theaterformen 2015 in Hanover
For this year’s edition of Festival Theaterformen taking place 2 – 12 July, we are looking for surtitle operators for the international theatre performances invited to the Festival. Working experiences with surtitling are not necessarily required because there will be a professional introduction and training beforehand. →
OVERWHELMED BY INTEREST IN THE RECORD
Yesterday the application period for THE RECORD has come to an end. We have received many applications which are now being examined by the artists Abigail Browde and Michael Silverstone from 600 Highwaymen. We are overwhelmed by the enormous interest and already regret not being able to invite all candidates. We would like to thank all of you for placing your trust in us and are even more excited about presenting the performance in July.
FESTIVAL THEATERFORMEN SEEKS CAST OF 45 for extraordinary theater piece in July 2015 Hannover
For the piece THE RECORD, the American theatre group 600 Highwaymen is looking for 45 participants from Hannover and the region. Everyone from seven years of age is welcome to apply - whether with or without stage experience.
Martine Dennewald is the new Artistic Director of Theaterformen Festival
Martine Dennewald joined Festival Theaterformen as the festival's new Artistic Director in August of this year. With her start in Lower Saxony, the 34-year-old began preparations for the 16th edition of the festival, which will take place from 2 July - 12 July 2015, on the stages of the State Theatres in Hanover and in municipal spaces.

Laura Drechsler and Kai Gläser, natives of the Erzgebirge region, moved to Hanover approximately 14 years ago. They enrolled in Visual Communication, with an emphasis in graphics, at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover in 2006.
