Kreidler hails from Düsseldorf. As German music-history was written in the Rhineland, comparisons are often made. Kreidler finds this somewhat annoying. They say yes to the music and attitude of Neu or Kraftwerk, but absolutely do not understand cross-references to CAN and don't feel anything like "post-rockers." With their new album, Kreidler evoke a kind of Godard-like-futurism in which the 20th and the 22nd centuries have been thought together, science fiction and modernity. The main thing is, this music has more of everything: more rhythm, drums and percussion, more keyboards, but better still: synthesizer sounds, which are immediate, which accept no refusal, which want something from you and yet maintain a great mystery.
