Die Aeronauten hail from Zurich and Schaffhausen. They read newspapers every day, they look great, are not pierced, always cleanly-shaven, friendly to children and animals and have existed for 20 years. With predominantly German song lyrics, they play a mix of pop, garage-rock, punk and soul. They dip into a wide range of styles, which includes anything from popular music to jazz of the forties ("Swing-Zwang"), and from parodies of country to New Wave Rock, in short: their music is timelessly good and extremely danceable. Live, they have convinced just about everyone who was lucky enough to make it to one of their impassioned concert bonanzas.
